"Brave and Beautiful" (Cesur ve Güzel) premiered on Star TV in Turkey for the 2016-17 season, starring Tuba Büyüküstün and Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ.
Tahsin Korludag, the powerful and feared head of the Korludag family, controls the town. He has two children: his son Korhan, a disappointment, and his beloved daughter Sühan. Korhan’s wife, desperate to bear the family heir, fears that Sühan will deliver an heir to the family fortune before herself and therefore decides to try to kill her sister-in-law. However, her plans are thwarted by a handsome stranger who saves Sühan and becomes her lover. Unbeknownst to them, revenge runs in this stranger’s veins and it is no coincidence that he showed up when he did. As his love for Sühan grows, he must decide whether to pursue vengeance or follow his heart.
"Brave and Beautiful" has won several awards in Turkey and internationally, including the Silver Bird Prize for Best Serial Drama at the Seoul International Drama Awards in 2017. In 22018 The series was nominated for an International Emmy in the Telenovela category.

Brave and Beautiful breaks new ground in the Far East
Already sold to over 60 territories around the world, NTV7 (Malaysia), HTV7 (Vietnam) and ABS CBN (Philippines) become the latest channels to pick up what is fast becoming one of Eccho Rights' top selling Turkish Dramas of all time.
Brave and Beautiful also recently debuted on Mega in Chile, and has been scoring an average 25% share, with double the number of viewers of its closest rival in the afternoon slot.
“Brave and Beautiful has fulfilled every expectation we had from a powerful producer like Ay Yapim, and the amazing acting talent they assembled,” says Fredrik af Malmborg, Managing Director of International distributor Eccho Rights. “As well as our traditionally successful Turkish Drama markets like LATAM and MENA, this series has also opened doors to a number of newer regions for us.”
On the Asian sales Nixon Yau Lim, Head of Asia Pacific at Eccho Rights says: “The Philippines is the latest country betting on Turkish Drama after seeing a growing interest across the region, in Vietnam and Malaysia particularly. This has even worked its way up to China where we have just completed our first deal for a Turkish feature film, as new channels are eager to test out this hugely successful genre.” Delibal, a 2015 romantic feature length movie also from Ay Yapim, has been picked up by BlueMedia Times for broadcast in China.

Brave And Beautiful enjoying a great start in Romania
Brave And Beautiful has started well in Romania on Happy Channel - and the ratings for the series are getting better each day!
The channel has reported a strong increase in performance for the 8pm prime time slot, with Brave And Beautiful scoring more than double the usual share for the channel. And the performance has been on a very clear upward curve since the broadcast started in mid-August, with thousands more viewers joining the telecast each day.

The latest round of sales deals for Brave And Beautiful includes news that the series will be the prime time drama highlight for the brand new Canal Uno, launching this week in Colombia.
And on Tuesday the series will air for the first time on Wapa TV in Puerto Rico, making 3 debuts in a week following last week's premiere in Mexico on Imagen Televisión.
