Eight years ago, Zerhun and Yaman defied their powerful families to marry for love. But Yaman’s father, the formidable Şeyhmuz, framed Zerhun as a traitor and forced them apart. Believing the lies, Yaman abandoned her. Alone and pregnant, Zerhun disappeared from the mansion that had destroyed her life and raised her daughter, Hayat, in secret.

Years later, Mine, a former employee of the mansion, makes a deathbed confession. She reveals that Zerhun was framed and that Hayat is Yaman’s daughter. Determined to confirm the truth, Yaman demands a DNA test. On the way to the hospital, a car accident leaves him with amnesia, and Hayat is taken into the family mansion under false pretences. Refusing to lose her daughter again, Zerhun is forced back into the very household that once cast her out.

To remain close to Hayat, Zerhun agrees to work at the mansion, concealing her identity while navigating a world ruled by pride, rivalry and buried secrets. As Yaman struggles with flashes of memory, long hidden truths begin to unravel. When he ultimately remembers their past and seeks to correct his mistakes, Zerhun faces an impossible choice. Can she trust the man who once walked away, or must she protect herself and her child at all costs?

Meanwhile, family tensions escalate. Yaman’s unhappy marriage fractures, enemies circle the family business, and violence threatens to destabilise the fragile balance of power within the mansion.

At its heart, Zerhun is the story of a mother who refuses to surrender her child to a dynasty built on control and silence. In a world of betrayal and ambition, Zerhun’s greatest strength is her resilience, and her unwavering determination to secure a future for Hayat that is free from the shadows of the past.

Eccho Rights launches Latest Kanal 7 Drama, Zerhun

Eccho Rights has secured international distribution rights to Zerhun, the new daily drama produced by Sincar Medya Group for Turkish broadcaster Kanal 7. The series is currently on-air in Turkey.

Zerhun marks the latest chapter in the long running collaboration between Eccho Rights and Kanal 7, a partnership that has delivered multiple global successes. Previous titles include Legacy, Winds of Love, and Behind the Veil, the latter continuing to hold its position as the highest rating daily drama series ever broadcast in Turkey, and renewed for its fourth season earlier this week.

Handan Özkubat, Director of Turkish Drama at Eccho Rights, said:“We are proud to continue our successful cooperation with Kanal 7 by representing Zerhun. Kanal 7 has consistently demonstrated its ability to produce daily dramas that resonate deeply with audiences both in Turkey and internationally. Zerhun is another powerful example of their expertise in delivering emotionally rich, highly engaging storytelling that travels across borders.”

At the centre of Zerhun is a sweeping, emotionally charged story of love torn apart by manipulation and power. Eight years ago, Zerhun and Yaman defied their influential families to marry for love, only for Yaman’s father, Şeyhmuz, to frame Zerhun as a traitor and force them apart. Believing the lies, Yaman abandoned her, unaware that she was carrying his child. Zerhun vanished and raised their daughter, Hayat, in secret. Years later, a deathbed confession exposes the truth, drawing Zerhun back into the family’s imposing mansion when Yaman demands a DNA test. A sudden accident leaves him with amnesia, Hayat is taken into the dynasty’s care, and Zerhun returns as an employee to remain close to her daughter. As memories resurface and internal rivalries intensify, Zerhun’s battle shifts from reclaiming lost love to protecting her child from a family built on pride, power and control.
