beIN picks up trio of Turkish Dramas for brand new channel

beIN has picked up three Turkish drama series to air daily as part of a new entertainment and lifestyle offering on the newly launched channel beIN Drama HD1.

For the brand new channel, Eccho Rights has licensed three series for the 6pm, 8pm and 10pm slots on a daily basis. The first is Heart of the City (Bu Sžehir Arkandan Gelecek) produced by Ay Yapim for ATV earlier this year. The second title having its first exclusive run in MENA on beIN is New Bride (Yeni Gelin) from Sürec Film. The series is currently in its second season on Show TV in Turkey and has topped the ratings in Saturday prime time each week since its return in September. The third series in the beIN package is Winter Sun (Kis GünesŸi) produced by Endemol Shine Turkey for Show TV.
