The latest thrilling drama adaptation from PRO TV, creators of Our Father, The Clan and Vlad. Former soldier Barbu has spent years hiding under a false identity from the powerful crime family he once betrayed. When one act of heroism puts his face in the news, his past comes looking for him - and this time he stops running.

Barbu, his wife Mara and their young son Codrin live a quiet life in rural Transylvania. But Barbu is not who he says he is. Years ago, as a covert operative, he infiltrated the empire of Scarlat, a respected businessman whose criminal influence reaches every level of the state. Scarlat came to trust him like a son, until Barbu's cover was blown and Scarlat's eldest son was killed.

When Barbu steps in to stop a robbery and becomes an overnight hero, the media attention leads his enemies straight to his door. After a violent attack leaves Codrin fighting for his life, Barbu reunites with his old army comrades, each carrying scars of their own, and declares war on a system built on crime, corruption and control.

But the fight is personal on every side. Mara must face the truth about the man she married, while Scarlat's daughter Delia, now married to his volatile heir Cezar, still has feelings for Barbu. How far will he go to protect the people he loves, and what will it cost them?
