Lily’s world is anything but simple. As a breakfast TV producer, every day is a high stakes juggling act - made even messier by her tangled love life and a family teetering on the edge. When Jack, a charismatic new chef, joins the show, Lily tries to ignore her growing feelings - especially when he starts dating her flatmate Simone. Meanwhile, her closest friend Pete, a struggling music journalist, suddenly finds himself preparing for fatherhood with his boss, throwing their friendship into uncertain territory.
As Lily’s relationships blur the lines between personal and professional, the choices she makes begin to unravel the life she’s tried to control. Jack is steady, driven, and surprisingly sensitive - but to pursue him would mean betraying Simone. Pete is chaotic, passionate, and familiar - but maybe not the man she thought he was. Around her, everyone’s at a crossroads: Simone must confront her past to fight for a future; Pete questions his dreams in the face of responsibility; and Lily’s brother Vincent fights to regain his independence after a life-altering accident.
What begins as a search for balance becomes a deeper reckoning with identity, love, and letting go. Because sometimes the choices that feel most right don’t lead where you expect - and sometimes, the wrong ones do.
