Set in 1990s Dublin, "The Vanishing Triangle" is inspired by true events of the time. Lisa Wallace (India Mullen - Normal People, Brassic) is a young, aspiring, journalist, with a harrowing back story; when Lisa was just ten-years-old she witnessed the murder of her mother by what at the time was assumed to be a home intruder. The killer was never caught, but when Lisa publishes a deeply personal piece about the murder, the killer resurfaces, contacting her. And so begins a cat-and-mouse game that pushes Lisa to the limit.
Together with David Burke (Allen Leech - Downton Abbey, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Imitation Game), - a detective who is struggling with his sexuality, they connect her mother’s killing to recent disappearances of young women, suspecting an undetected serial killer may be responsible.
