Kuzey grew up in a rural village in the north of Turkey where life was simple - he would get a job working in the family business, marry a local girl, have children of his own and then the cycle would start over again. But he couldn’t escape the lure of the city, and having moved away to study as a young man he decided to stay and build a new life for himself. He fell in love, got a great job and had three daughters. His new life is exactly as he had hoped, though it has meant giving up his family back home in the north who disowned him after he adopted this new lifestyle. But all of a sudden his world comes crashing down when his wife walks out and the next day he finds out he is being made redundant. Penniless and with three teenage daughters to care for, he is left with no choice but to return to his boyhood home and beg for forgiveness from the community he rejected - and that rejected him. Though he has to work hard to win over the villagers, and even harder to convince his teenage daughters to adapt to life in the countryside, there is light at the end of the tunnel for Kuzey: Yıldız, the childhood sweetheart that he was meant to marry has grown up in to a stunningly beautiful woman. But winning her over might just be his biggest challenge yet.
