Kuzey grew up in a rural village in the north of Turkey where life was simple - he would get a job working in the family business, marry a local girl and have children. But he couldn’t escape the lure of the city, and having moved away to study as a young man, he decided to stay and build a new life for himself. He fell in love, found success, and started a family, estranging himself from his family back home and rural roots. But all of a sudden his world shatters when his wife walks out on him and the next day he finds himself being made redundant. Penniless, with three teenage daughters he is forced to return to his hometown facing the community he rejected – who in return rejected him. As he strives to rebuild trust and persuade his daughters to adapt to rural life, Kuzey finds unexpected hope in Yıldız, his childhood sweetheart who has grown up in to a stunningly beautiful woman. But winning her over might just be his biggest challenge yet.
