Servant of the People gets Polish remake "Sluga Narodu"

Volodymyr Zelenskys' hit series "Servant of the People" is getting a Polish remake by the name of "Sluga Narodu". The series is being produced by Polot Media for Polish broadcaster Polsat and features local star Marcin Hycnar in the role of humble teacher "Vasily".

Zelensky starred in the Ukraine original from 2015, which was hugely popular and became the real-life launch into his political career. After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the start of the war many broadcasters licensed the series in solidarity with Ukraine making it an international hit.
