The Clinic licensed to Antenna TV in Greece

Eccho Rights has licensed scripted reality format THE CLINIC to Antenna TV in Greece.
Created by Tuvalu for VRT in Belgium, THE CLINIC was a record-breaking ratings-winner for the Belgian pubcaster from 2013, and then achieved remarkable success as a remake in Spain. As CENTRO MÉDICO, produced by Zebra Producciones, the medical drama ran for more than 1100 episodes on RTVE from 2015-2019.
“THE CLINIC is a wonderfully simple but successful format - each episode is based on real medical cases, as seen through the eyes of a cast of doctors and nurses. Though the episodes are scripted, the deeply researched source material and original cases make for highly realistic and relatable story-telling,” says Fredrik af Malmborg, Managing Director at Eccho Rights.
THE CLINIC is set to go into production this spring, with an initial order of 60 episodes to air later this year on ANT1 in Greece.

Eccho Rights closes three Turkish Drama deals in Indonesia
Eccho Rights has secured deals with Indonesian broadcasters for three Turkish Drama series. ANTV have acquired Winds of Love, produced by Unik Film and Rains Pictures, and Behind the Veil from Film Yapim Merkezi, while SCTV have picked up Karamel Yapim drama Legacy.
“These new partnerships mark an encouraging moment for Turkish Drama in Indonesia,” said Berkin Nalbantli, Sales Consultant CEE & Asia at Eccho Rights. “It has been a challenging market in recent years, but during ATF earlier this month we saw clear signs of renewed appetite for Turkish content across Asia. Broadcasters are again looking for high quality, emotionally charged storytelling and we are pleased to be part of that momentum returning to the region.”
Eccho Rights previously enjoyed a major ratings breakthrough with Elif in 2015. The series became one of SCTV’s most watched titles of the year and later inspired a local remake on the same channel, further cementing the brand’s popularity with Indonesian audiences.
