The hit Turkish Drama series Golden Boy, produced by OGM Pictures, has sold to more than 30 countries in 3 months since its launch at MIPCOM in October 2022.

Latest sales territories include Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovena and Montenegro (Nova TV), North Macedonia (Kanal 5), Georgia (Imedi TV) and Romania (Antena 1/Happy Channel). Immediately following its launch, the series was licensed to 23 territories throughout the MENA region through MBC Group, while several more deals have been completed.

Since first airing on Star TV in September 2022, Golden Boy has topped the ratings chart each week in Turkey. By December it was established as the most watched drama of the year, with the top 5 highest television audiences of 2022 all belonging to the series.

“It is years since we have seen anything like this performance from a drama series in Turkey, so it is no surprise that the interest among international buyers is especially high for this amazing title," says Handan Özkubat, Director of Turkish Drama.
