Eccho Rights to distribute new US/European drama coproduction

The new US/European drama coproduction “Europe by Train”, from Mark Williams, creator of Netflix hit Ozark, has now received the green light.Europe by Train (8×60’) is a coproduction between Irish, Dutch, Portuguese and US partners. It will be produced by Leif Lillehaugen and Adhrucia Apana, at LA-based Curiosity Entertainment. Adam Barth, director of coproductions, acquisitions and development here at Eccho Rights is handling international distribution and pre-sales for the upcoming series.Europe by Train follows a young American undercover agent posing as a backpacker to infiltrate a pan-European smuggling ring. Behind The Veil Secures Major LATAM Deal
Eccho Rights has secured a major pan-regional sales deal in Latin America for hit Turkish daily drama Behind the Veil (Gelin), following an agreement with leading media group Albavision. The deal marks a significant milestone for the series, establishing its first wide-reaching presence across multiple Latin American markets.
Under the agreement, Albavision has acquired Behind the Veil for five territories: the Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. Produced by Film Yapım Merkezi for Kanal 7, Behind the Veil is the highest-rating daily drama ever produced in Turkey.
“This deal with Albavision represents a real breakthrough moment for Behind the Veil in Latin America,” said Barbora Suster, Head of Sales for Latin America at Eccho Rights. "Albavision’s scale and reach make them an ideal partner to establish the show across Latin America, and we see this agreement as the starting point for further expansion across LATAM.”

Eccho Rights closes three Turkish Drama deals in Indonesia
Eccho Rights has secured deals with Indonesian broadcasters for three Turkish Drama series. ANTV have acquired Winds of Love, produced by Unik Film and Rains Pictures, and Behind the Veil from Film Yapim Merkezi, while SCTV have picked up Karamel Yapim drama Legacy.
“These new partnerships mark an encouraging moment for Turkish Drama in Indonesia,” said Berkin Nalbantli, Sales Consultant CEE & Asia at Eccho Rights. “It has been a challenging market in recent years, but during ATF earlier this month we saw clear signs of renewed appetite for Turkish content across Asia. Broadcasters are again looking for high quality, emotionally charged storytelling and we are pleased to be part of that momentum returning to the region.”
Eccho Rights previously enjoyed a major ratings breakthrough with Elif in 2015. The series became one of SCTV’s most watched titles of the year and later inspired a local remake on the same channel, further cementing the brand’s popularity with Indonesian audiences.
