Chile’s Mega picks up Stiletto Vendetta
Stiletto Vendetta, Ay Yapim’s latest hit Turkish Drama series, will make its entrance in the LATAM market on Chilean network Mega.
Mega has previously been the first broadcaster in Latin America to import a number of subsequently hugely successful Turkish series such as Ezel, Fatmagul and Insider.
Stiletto Vendetta recently completed its first season on Turkish television, scoring consistently high ratings and winning praise from fans and critics alike. The show will return for a second season on Star TV later this year.
“This is a stylish and compelling series, and shows the incredible rate at which Turkish Drama is evolving. We are happy to share it with our audiences who we hope will enjoy the gorgeous visuals and the emotional story as well,” says Juan Ignacio Vicente, Director of Content and International Business at Mega.
“Now that Mega have picked up this series we expect further channels in the region to follow suit. Interest has already been massive across LATAM but in recent years a success in Chile has sent signals to other broadcasters that a series is a real a must-have product!” says Laura Minarro, acting Head of Sales for Latin America at international distributor Eccho Rights.
Eccho Rights has already completed deals in Israel, Greece, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovenia and Romania for the series which follows the fates of four women from an upscale neighbourhood which is rocked by a murder.
