Cennet claims new territories
Eccho Rights has sold Turkish Drama series Cennet to a host of new countries around the world.
The Süreç Film-produced hit from 2018 will air on Nova in Spain, on OBN in Bosnia, has been picked up by Canal+ for sub-Saharan Africa and has also been acquired by MKCS Global in Myanmar, to be the first Turkish Drama broadcast on its female-skewing channel 4ladies.
Cennet was a top performer for ATV in Turkey last year, scoring very high ratings in a traditionally difficult Sunday evening prime time slot.
The romantic drama series has now sold to more than 50 countries worldwide.

El Accidente premiere tops Spanish ratings
El Accidente, the thrilling new drama from Globomedia, premiered to a huge audience on Mediaset’s Telecinco in Spain on Tuesday. The series' first episode was watched by over 3,2 million viewers, achieving a market share of 20,3% to top the prime time charts.
These numbers represent the best start for a new fiction launch on any of Mediaset Espana’s platforms in over 2 years. The series will consist of a total of 13 x 70 minute episodes in Spain, with an alternative 17 x 45 minute version available for the international market.

The End to be remade in Spain
Turkish Series The End (Son) from Ay Yapim is going to be adapted for Telecinco in Spain. Globomedia will produce the Spanish version which will have the title El Accidente and is set to go on air during the first quarter of 2017.
This is the third time this year that a major European broadcaster has ordered a local version of the show. The first to go on air will be in the Netherlands. Vlucht HS13 (Flight HS13) is set to premiere the 4th of September on KRO-NCRV, produced by Column Film. Another adaptation of the Turkish script is in production for Channel 1 in Russia, produced by Russian World Studios.
The End is a powerful thriller that tells the story of a woman investigating her husband's death in a plane crash, only to discover that he never actually boarded the flight.
