ECCHO RIGHTS TO REPRESENT TURKISH DRAMA LEGACY
Eccho are proud to present the new Turkish drama Legacy (Emanet) from Karamel Yapim. The series is currently in production and set to launch on Kanal 7 on March 24th where it will follow in the footsteps of the channel’s other successful daily dramas, like The Promise. The Promise, also produced by Karamel Yapim for Kanal 7 in Turkey, which continues with record breaking ratings since its launch in February of last year, has sold widely internationally and has been renewed for a third season in Turkey.

THE PROMISE TO NEW TERRITORIES
Eccho Rights has closed several deals for Turkish Drama Series The Promise. In October, the drama was renewed for a third season (250x45min), adding to the over 300 episodes of the first two seasons.
The series, which was one of last season’s breakout-hits in Turkey, has been sold to Bosnia (OBN), Serbia (Pink) and Bulgaria (BTV) joining Poland, India, Lithuania, Romania and Georgia which picked up the drama last year.
Produced by Karamel Yapim, the series is currently in its second season on Kanal 7 where it continues to obtain stellar results. During its first season The Promise scored more than three times Kanal 7’s average share and the channel's rank rose from 8th overall to 3rd place during broadcast of the tension-filled, romantic, family drama.

THE PROMISE RENEWED FOR THIRD SEASON
THE PROMISE has been renewed for a third season on Turkey’s Kanal 7, after the enormous success of the first and second seasons broadcast throughout 2019.
The daily drama series, produced by Karamel Yapim, has been scoring record breaking ratings for its host broadcaster since launching in February this year, and has now started to make waves on the international market. We have already secured sales in Romania, Lithuania, India, Poland and Georgia, with a host of other territories queuing up to acquire the series following MIPCOM. The success, both domestic and international, has seen the romantic drama renewed for a further 256 x 45 min episode run to air through the 2020-21 season.
“THE PROMISE has seen a massive increase in market share for Kanal 7 and international broadcasters have been taking notice. The confirmation of over 400 episodes to be complete by Spring 2021 gives international buyers a guarantee of a quality, long-running product,” says Handan Özkubat, Director of Turkish Drama at Eccho Rights.

THE PROMISE SELLS OVERSEAS AS SECOND SEASON STARTS IN TURKEY
Eccho Rights has closed several international sales deals for Turkish Drama series The Promise, which has just made its second season debut in Turkey.
The series, which scored record breaking ratings for its host broadcaster Kanal 7, has been picked up in Poland (TVP), India (MX Player) Lithuania (SIA All Media), and Romania (Antena Group/Happy Channel). These territories join Imedi TV in Georgia which became the first international broadcaster to acquire the series earlier this year.
The Promise returned last week to Turkish screens with the ratings once again impressing for Kanal 7. The series scored more than three times Kanal 7’s average share and the channel's rank rose from 8th overall to 3rd place during broadcast of the tension-filled, romantic, family drama.
