beIN picks up trio of Turkish Dramas for brand new channel
beIN has picked up three Turkish drama series to air daily as part of a new entertainment and lifestyle offering on the newly launched channel beIN Drama HD1.
For the brand new channel, Eccho Rights has licensed three series for the 6pm, 8pm and 10pm slots on a daily basis. The first is Heart of the City (Bu Sehir Arkandan Gelecek) produced by Ay Yapim for ATV earlier this year. The second title having its first exclusive run in MENA on beIN is New Bride (Yeni Gelin) from Sürec Film. The series is currently in its second season on Show TV in Turkey and has topped the ratings in Saturday prime time each week since its return in September. The third series in the beIN package is Winter Sun (Kis Günesi) produced by Endemol Shine Turkey for Show TV.

Ay Yapim score four nominations for Seoul Drama Awards
Ay Yapim dramas represented by Eccho Rights have received four nominations for the 12th Seoul International Drama Awards. Brave And Beautiful and Heart Of The City have both been nominated for multiple awards, with the winners to be unveiled in September.
This latest news tops off a great week for both series. On Monday, Eccho Rights announced the 25th international sale for Brave And Beautiful while the series premiered on two separate channels - Canal Uno in Colombia and Wapa in Puerto Rico. And today we proudly announced news of further sales for Heart Of The City, including to RTM in Malaysia, where the series will become the first Turkish Drama ever to broadcast on free-to-air television in the country.

Heart Of The City coming to 3 new territories
Ay Yapim’s new series Heart Of The City is set to be broadcast in Romania, Iran and Iraq following the latest round of deals announced today by Eccho Rights.
The series, which debuted on ATV in January, is the latest from prolific Turkish producers Ay Yapim and writer Ece Yorenc, a partnership which has seen huge global success with Fatmagul, Forbidden Love (Ask-i Memnu), Kurt Seyit & Sura and Medcezir. Heart Of The City stars popular actors Kerem Bürsin (Seref Meselesi, Günesi Beklerken), Leyla Lydia Tugutlu (Karadayi) and Gürkan Uygun (Kacak).
The story of a young man raised at sea, Heart Of The City sees Ali (Bürsin) reunited with the city that he had tried to leave behind. Though he hates Istanbul and the painful memories that it holds for him, he finds himself drawn deep in to the city in pursuit of a beautiful girl. Ali soon finds far more to connect him to his hometown than he knew existed.
