Miriam is a self-made woman, a high-flying doctor who is about to become the youngest woman to head the Oncology department. At home, she is a single mother raising her smart yet rebellious young daughter. Although she muscles through the struggles of a difficult work-life balance, Miriam’s world is turned upside down when she is diagnosed with terminal cancer. She has one year left to live and wants to ensure her daughter is well taken care of, so she seeks out her ex-boyfriend Henry, a former baseball player.
