Phi to be the first Turkish Drama in Korea!
Phi will become the first Turkish drama series to air on Korean television, on GTV this November.
The channel, which focuses on a female audience with a line up of lifestyle, cookery and fashion programming, will use Phi to introduce the Turkish Drama phenomenon to the Korean market.
Mint Media Group, who facilitated the deal alongside international distributor Eccho Rights, will dub the series in to Korean using A-list voice actors. CEO of Mint Media, Lee Hak Rae: “The Korean audience is not familiar with Turkish series yet, so the dubbed version will be a perfect opportunity to introduce this new genre in to Korea."
GTV will also bring a specially created 4K version of the series to their ultra hi-def service UHD Dream TV.

70 million viewers for season one of Phi - so far!
The final episode of Phi reached 3 million viewers within 72 hours on Puhu TV, pushing total viewing numbers for the series to over 70 million by the end of June.
These numbers put Ay Yapim's groundbreaking series among the most watched Turkish series anywhere during this spring, despite being exclusive to Puhu's online platform and benefiting from no traditional linear broadcast.
The first original content produced for Puhu TV, Phi has also contributed to a surge in the channel's success. Since the launch of the series Puhu has scored a number of new landmarks, with use of the platform more than doubling following Phi's initial release, and since then more than 20% of Turkey's entire internet-connected population tuning in to the series.
