MBC in the Middle East have acquired the series, while broadcasters across Eastern Europe, the Far East and Latin America have also picked up on what has been a huge fan favourite since launching on Show TV in Turkey in September 2016. In Europe, the ratings winning drama is going to LNK in Lithuania and Dori Media in Israel. Astro in Malaysia pick up the series as their next premium Turkish Drama highlight, while Imagen Televisión in Mexico complete the latest round of sales.

Insider has been the top series among Turkish viewers since its launch, scoring the highest ratings each week in an incredibly competitive Monday primetime slot, while breaking records for online viewers. The series opener has been watched more than any other episode of any Turkish Drama in history on Youtube, with over 11 million views to date.

Eccho Rights signs Gonul for three new territories

Ahead of DISCOP Istanbul, Eccho Rights announces three new deals on the Turkish Drama Gonul from Most Productions. The independent distributor has sold the show to RTV21 in Kosovo, TV21 in Macedonia and Viva Channel in Israel.

“Gonul is a very strong story about love, family, legacy and domestic violence. A woman falls in love with the wrong man, then struggles to regain her independence and shape her own future. It's a nail-biting thriller, as well as a story about true love and family bonds,” says Fredrik af Malmborg, managing director at Eccho Rights.

From the producers of global hit Sila, Gonul tells the story of a dark love triangle and aired on Star TV in Turkey.
